A word to thank you for the nice evening offered to our guests yesterday. They loved you and greatly appreciated your show.
You have a magnificent voice and have enhanced the evening with an animation that sometimes raised deep emotions and at other times made us laugh. Your pianist was just as excellent.
Congratulations and a thousand more thanks!

Question:
Whenever I help someone, who do I really help?
The answer is always the same every Monday evening after spending the afternoon singing for the patients in palliative care at Notre-Dame Hospital in Montreal:
Myself, first.
If I speak to you about values of vulnerability, authenticity and generosity …
And if I say to you that we can almost resume our lives to theses:
The PRESENT-The FUTURE- Our MEMORIES
The bottom line is LOVE that we give and take.
Here’s a summary of what I find in palliative care … AND of what I heard yesterday at SYLVAIN GUIMOND’S LECTURE, a sports psychology doctor, who teaches NHL hockey players how to cuddle … Or, in other words, human beings to offer the best of themselves, beyond fear and appearances.
There is however a big difference with the patients of the hospital: the TIME factor which is much shorter on their side….
Thank you for this beautiful gift that reminds us not to wait ‘any longer’ to dive into the heart of what really matters…!
My good friend, the Guitarist-Chemist Martin Dion, sent me this picture taken recently during a fund raising show for Entraide pour homes (Help for men).
Congratulations to all those men who face their suffering instead of turning it against themselves and those around them.

This Friday, August 18 at 6:30 pm, if you pass by Chambly, a city so charming where it feels 24/7 like a holiday, I will sing French songs with a jazzy touch to celebrate in good company the 10 years of the wonderful bistro Bonté Divine!
I will celebrate Mother’s Day by singing at the Bonne Entente Brunch in Quebec City, next Sunday, May 14th, starting at 9:30 am. For more information, see the attached press release (in French!;-).
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms, including mine!

Once a year, I allow myself this treat with the wonderful Magic Blend band at the Cabaret-Theatre in Vieux St-Jean. In front of this packed house, I felt fulfilled!

No, I don’t always dress like this, it’s my Italian character who plays the diva with “la canzone italiana” and opera arias… Love it!
